Freedom Pop is a mobile service provider that I recommend for certain situations such as:
1. When you aren’t sure how long you will need service.
2. You don’t need to use the service all the time, but want to have it available when you need it.
3. You have an unlocked device you want to reuse for a child or other family member.
I have personally used Freedom Pop services to activate an iPhone 6s that was originally purchased thru Sprint on a lease. When the lease ran out, I kept the device to have as an emergency backup. Instead, I needed to activate a phone for my Mom when her outdated tracfone finally bit the dust.
